I don’t pretend to have all the answers. What I do bring is curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to helping you feel truly seen, not just as a set of struggles, but as a whole person with strength, potential, and the capacity for growth.

A Journey of Transformation - and the Privilege of Helping Others Through Theirs
I’m Vicky Ashraf , a BACP Accredited Counsellor, Therapeutic ADHD Coach, Imago Relationship Therapist, and Clinical Supervisor. But before I became any of those things, I was a woman navigating life with low confidence and self-esteem, wondering why things always felt harder than they should.
My journey into counselling began in 2007. At the time, my beautiful twin girls were toddlers, and I found myself yearning to be the kind of mother they could be proud of, someone who embodied strength, compassion, and self-belief. I wanted to model confidence, not just teach it.
So at 39, I stepped into therapy for the first time. What followed was a rollercoaster of self-discovery and healing. It wasn’t always easy, but it opened my eyes to the possibility of real, lasting change.
Over time, I rebuilt my confidence, layer by layer, and eventually trained as a therapist myself. For 17 years now, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside clients through their own growth journeys, supporting them through anxiety, trauma, grief, low self-worth, and relationship struggles.
The Missing Piece and the Turning Point
In March 2024, at the age of 57, I received a diagnosis that reframed so much of my life: This was a diagnosis for ADHD.
It explained years of internal battles, the overthinking, the sensitivity, the relentless self-criticism, the difficulty keeping up with everyday tasks while appearing “fine” on the outside. Suddenly, everything made sense. But it wasn’t the beginning of my transformation, more the deepening of it.
This late diagnosis didn’t define me, but it gave me permission to embrace my differences instead of fighting them. And it gave me a powerful lens to support the many women I work with who are quietly living with the same unspoken struggles, often without knowing why.
